Lifestyle newborn is a way of showing your natural connections..

When I began my newborn journey I found myself much more drawn to the images that reflected the overwhelming love a family feels for their newest addition. Lifestyle newborn typically happens in your own home which makes the session so much more intimate and beautiful. Having you invite me into your safe space means so much to me. We'll focus on capturing your emotional connection to each other. Your bond to your baby, the intense connection to your partner after seeing this new life you created together, and any siblings (or fur siblings!) getting the opportunity to be a big brother/sister.

Traditional posed newborn typically shows baby by themselves wrapped up with a set surrounding them. Usually in different poses like froggy or in a bucket. It's not that I don't find these incredibly beautiful, I just don't feel that this creates the same emotive images I see from lifestyle sessions. There's something so natural about a mother gently rocking her baby to sleep, or a father stroking the back of baby's hair. Of course it's all down to personal preference, but if you find yourself more drawn to lifestyle images I would love to bring your vision to life!

We are able to take images in the spaces that have meaning to you; this includes baby's nursery, your bedroom, or living room.

And of course we'll include siblings (or furry siblings!)
